She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Akright. She is survived by: her children, Pam Rectenwaldt (Dave), Steve Akright Sr. and Jayna Akright; her grandchildren, Yesenia Lankford (Courtney), Steve Akright Jr. (Renae) and Shawn Adams (Jenifer Fisher); her great grandchildren, Max Akright, Sam Akright and Jaden Lankford; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Akright. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Holt (2021 N Aurelius Rd, Holt, MI 48842).
