He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest VanderLaan and Helen VanderLaan (Jazdzyk). He is survived by: his wife Vickie; his children, Jason VanderLaan (Mona) of Springfield, Virginia and Elizabeth Johnson (Ken); and his siblings, Lake, Kevin Panyard (Kristi Winslow) of Greenville, Colleen Copley (Jacob) of Tipp City, Ohio, Jim VanderLaan, John VanderLaan and Debbie Terpstra (Bill). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren & 1 great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to Blue Lake Community Church, or to Hand2Hand at Holton Public Schools.
