She is survived by: her husband Joseph John Slater; her children, Kyle Grove (Tammy) of Fremont and Chad Grove (Kristine); her sibling Lake; her stepchildren, Judith Sova (David) of Holton, Joseph Slater of Holton and Janell Deur (Roger) of Fremont; her grandchildren, Karl Jordan, Melanie Burt (Jake), Bree Grove, Amber Brown (Josh), Kenneth Deur (Danielle), Miranda Arends (Dillon) and Derek Sova (Carrie); and her brother Jack Manciu (Sue) of Ionia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Michaels Renovation Fund, reflecting Mary's dedication to her faith and community.
