With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane Edward VanMeter of Homer, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold VanMeter and Annetta VanMeter-Clay (Covey); and his siblings, John VanMeter, Sandy Carty and Kathryn Ball.
He is survived by : his wife Jill VanMeter; his children, Scott VanMeter, Tina VanMeter and Brian VanMeter (Cheri); and his siblings, Patricia Cole and Donald VanMeter (Kathy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in honor of Duane can be made to a charity of one's choice.
