He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam N. Ratliff and Virgie Ratliff (Pratt); his son Marty Ratliff; his grandson Marty Jr.; his great grandchild Ariona; and his siblings, Ervin Ratliff, Gannon Ratliff, Demmodell Ratliff, Shannon Ratliff, Hurl Ratliff, Robert Williams, Azzonna Selles and Lavonna Walterhouse.
He is survived by: his children, Priscilla Treece (Randy) of Tekonsha, MI, Connie Simmons (Tom) of Norman and David Ratliff (Gillian) of Groveton, NH; his grandchildren, Tracy, Corey, Michael, Zeke, Elijah, Megan, Amanda, Amber, Brian, Noah, Josh, Steven and Stephanie; his siblings, Zelmaglee Tackett (Ed) of Homer, MI, Elzonna Sparks of Jackson, MI and Clem Ratliff of Jackson, MI; and his sister-in-law Juanita Ratliff of Homer, MI. He is also survived by 29 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Vickers Springport Funeral Home (121 Pearl St, Springport, MI 49284). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Albion Memory Gardens (26905 B-Drive S, Albion, MI 49224).
