He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James Kirkpatrick and Ruby Lois Kirkpatrick; his brother John Robert Kirkpatrick; and his nephew Travis Kirkpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Ebaugh-Kirkpatrick; his children, Ben Lee Kirkpatrick, Timothy Kirkpatrick and Kimberly Lawson; his sisters, Mary Arlene Royds and Elizabeth Diane Cook; and his stepchildren, Jackie, ReYanna and Lawrence. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
