She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Sr. Aernouts and May Aernouts (Rose); her daughter Nieko Hall; and her grandchildren, Ashley Powers, Jay Powers and Lena Selvig.

She is survived by : her husband Alan Heslinga; her children, Anita Hall, Wallace Hall III, David Heslinga, Jaime Sauer (Chad) and Melanie Heslinga; her grandchildren, Sam, Dakoda, Nicholas, Amanda (Beau), Kamarie, Jonas, Noah, Keegan, Jaiden and Rylan; her great grandchildren, Elijah, Isaiah and Jaxtyn; and her sister Linda Brown (Bill).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's name to a charity of your choice.
