He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Smith and Myrtle Smith of Concord, Michigan.. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughters, Kelly Pitchford (Steve) of Jackson and Lynda Wooden (David) of Concord; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Wellsted (Seth), Colin Ellsworth (Jenn), Devon Ellsworth (Florence), Christian Riske and Alexis Riske.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Concord, Michigan.
