With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Oliver Patterson Richards of Horton, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Richards and Vera Richards (Swope); and his stepdaughter Julie Oberlin. He is survived by: his wife Carol Richards (Peckham); his children, Heide Richards-Pandolf (Mike) and Oliver Richards (Sara); his stepson Mark Oberlin (Linda); his grandchildren, Jacob Fall, Olivia Richards, Jorey Richards and Oliver Richards; his stepgrandchildren, Shandi Woodworth (Jack), Kayla Hillis (Tony), Melinda Pantangco (Mike) and Sierra Rogers; his brothers, Ron Richards (Janet), Dan Richards (Kathy) and Scott Richards (Laurie); and his siblings-in-law, Ken Peckham and Cindy Sherwood. He is also survived by one great-grandchild and eleven step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hampton Funeral Homes - Hanover (221 Main St, Hanover, MI 49241). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
