She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin and Winifred; and her siblings, Alice, Faye and Peter.

She is survived by: her husband John Michael "Mike" ONeil of Houghton Lake; her children, Kelly O'Neil of Gaylord, Kristine Brady of Petoskey and John O'Neil, Jr. of Gaylord; her grandchildren, Luke, Kristen, Cole, Katelyn, Kara, Shea and Bailey; and her great grandchildren, Ada, Zoe, Finnley, Marlon, Chad and Brady.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Barbara are asked to be directed to St. James Catholic Church.
