Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rosie Meece of Houghton Lake, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 90, on December 1, 2025. As we bid Rosie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rosie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucius Phillips and Meecie Phillips (Butcher); her son-in-law John Quirk; and her granddaughter Jessica Quirk. She is survived by: her husband Earl L. Meece of Houghton Lake; her children, Sue Quirk of Houghton Lake, David Meece (Linda) of Allen Park and William Meece of Houghton Lake; and her brother Benjamin Phillips of Belleville.
