He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Papendick and Amanda Papendick (Force); his wives, Jacqueline and Jean Watkins-Riedel; his siblings, Lucille, Martin and Robert; his son-in-law Robert Elde; and his stepsons, Gregory Riedel and David Riedel.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Papendick, Annette Elde and Angela Maynard (Kevin); his granddaughter Christel Neuendorf (James); and his stepchildren, Colleen Gray, William Riedel and Anjanette Ingersoll (Kevin).
