He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Pyykkonen and Lillian Pyykkonen (Moilanen). He is survived by: his wife Agnes Pyykkonen; his children, Carri Larsen and David Scott Pyykkonen; his grandchildren, Jim Larsen Jr. (Brooke), Tara Arens (Jon) and Bradley Pyykkonen; and his brother Bruce Pyykkonen (Katie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
