He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Kuru and Dorothy Kuru (Seppala); and his brothers, Jim, Dave and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Janet (Hodges); his children, Connie Kuru (Joe Shortell) and Bill Kuru (Ashley); his grandchildren, Chloe, Carson Howell and Bill Kuru II; and his sisters, Barbara Snobel (John), Glenda Julio and Darline Kuru. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
