He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Evans and Evelyn Evans (Graver); his sister Lois Barbara Evans Gordon; his son Kris; and his niece Debra.
He is survived by: his nieces, Denise Gordon Stafford and Sheri Lynn Gordon Vargas.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Portage Lake United Church (1400 E Houghton Ave, Houghton, MI 49931). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
