She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kaarlela and Lydia Kaarlela; and her siblings, Willard Kaarlela, Gordon Kaarlela, William Kaarlela, Robert Kaarlela, Irving Kaarlela, Edith Helman, Elain Kangas, Lorane Blair, Bernice Cota and Kathy Ponnikas.
She is survived by: her husband Rudy; her children, Jerry Palonen (Pam), Cindy Monaweck (Jim) and Leeland (Debbie); her grandchildren, Tina, Audra, Aaron, Eric, Nick, Kristen, Katie and Matthew; and her stepgrandchildren, Steven, Miranda, Alexandrya and Samantha.
