He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Rintala and LaVerne Rintala (Maatta); and his father-in-law Carl Fletcher. He is survived by: his wife Shannon; his children, Eero and Miriam; his foster son Eden; and his sisters, Kim Schweitzer (Jay) of Houghton, MI and Kelly White (Steve) of Ramsey, MN.. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 5 nephews.
