It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Erva (Houghton, Michigan), who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She volunteered at various sites through the RSVP organization, at the Omega House (Where she was named volunteer of the year in 2006), and Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorial donations in Mary's memory are suggested to be directed to the Life Out Reach Center, 300 B Quincy St., Hancock, MI 49930, or to the charity of ones choice.
