He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Gilpin (Boyd) and Ambrose "Gip" Gilpin; and his siblings, John, Pat and Cecilia.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene "Tommy" (Thompson); his child Jackie; his grandsons, Clark and Luke; his siblings, Mary Minshall and Bill; his cousin Leo Gilpin; Cliff Isaacson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
