She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Francis and Helen Catherine Mcgrath (O'Brien) of Toledo; and her sisters, Mary Adams, Elizabeth Ann Stevenson and Margaret Hoffell.

She is survived by: her husband Bernard Alkire; her daughters, Theresa Frantti (Jeff), Linda Alkire (Mike Van Bergen) and Beth Beams (Matt); her grandchildren, Brian, Emily, Lila and Leah; her great grandchild Mikko; her sister Madonna McGrath; and her brother-in-law David Wagner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
