He is survived by: his wife Mary Dale of Ripley; his children, Terry Aittama (Craig), Susie Aldrich (Mike) and Mike (Carrie); his grandchildren, Kara (Cameron), Lindsay Aittama, Brad, Jason Aldrich, Brett and Kyle Hauswirth; and his siblings, Richard, Keith Hauswirth and Kathy Goulette. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Although he enjoyed playing, his love for the sport is best reflected in his involvement and contributions to high school and MTU hockey.
