She was predeceased by: her father Bruce Boomstra; and her grandparents, Ruth Brower, Kenneth Brower, Robert Boomstra and Laura Boomstra.

She is survived by: her husband William A. Bowyer Jr.; her daughters, Makenna Bowyer, Keira Boomstra and Alisa Bowyer; her grandsons, Luca and Armani; her mother Kathleen Boomstra; her brother Andrew; her sister-in-law Kristy Boomstra; her sister Anne; and her brother-in-law Matthew Bergsma. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; extended family.
