He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Totten and Clara Totten (Plumb); and his siblings, Lloyd Totten, Edna Pieper, Jack Totten, Ardis Westfall, Doris Starr and Joan Wainright.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; and his children, John Totten (Vickie) of Cedar Springs, Vicki Farrell (Robert) of Boyne City, Will Totten of Boyne City and Scott Totten (Annette) of Howard City. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; three and one-half great-great grandchildren; two step-children and their families; many nieces and nephews.
