It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Nelson (Howard City, Michigan), who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Nelson and Leora Nelson (Dargitz); his parents-in-law, William and Helen Millar; his grandson Michael Lee Spielmacher; and his great grandchildren, Jack and Damien Nevins.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Cathy"; his children, Scott Nelson (Linda), Kevin Nelson (Cathie Ray), Debra Cain (Rick), Sheri Fiet (Rick) and Sarah Hines (Jeff); his grandchildren, Shannon VanGessel (Steven), Amy Nelson (Brooke Lindly), Nicole Jackson (Terry), Amanda Osburn (Jerry), Paige Outman (Noah), Grant Fiet, Ethan Hines and Landon Hines; and his siblings, Jack Nelson (Kay Roberts) and Janet Orr (William "Willy"). He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
