He is survived by: his wife Stella; his daughter Tina Witkowski (David); his siblings-in-law, Richard Matias (Maurine) and Jeanette Gatt (Ray); and his nieces and nephews, Darren Matias, Allison Matias, Wendy Robertson (Lyndsay), Andrew Gatt (Kathrine), Michael Gatt (Kate), Emily, Kate, Matthew, Davis and Jackson.

He worked for Ontario Research Foundation in Toronto, Westinghouse in Pittsburgh and ended his career with the Ford Motor Company, Detroit.
