He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Gerecke and Dorothy Gerecke (Austin); and his brothers, Terry, Robert "Bobby" and Scott Gerecke.
He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Gerecke and David Gerecke (Bernice); and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
