She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Denkhaus and Evelyn Denkhaus; her husband Roy George; and her siblings, Ronald "Joe" Denkhaus and Linda Paige.
She is survived by: her children, Kellie Maletta (Daniel) and Christopher George (Lisa); her grandsons, Benjamin and Charles Maletta; her siblings, Cathy Housner, MaryAnn McClure and Gerald Denkhaus; her brother-in-law Rich Shearer; her aunt Red; and her friends, Carol Russek and Debbie Spinneweber. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (6481 Faussett Rd, Howell, MI 48855). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (6841 Faussett Rd, Howell, MI 48855).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to Angela Hospice, which provided Carol with dignified, loving care, or to KIDS CARE.
