He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Daugherty and Eva Daugherty (Jorah); his stepchildren, Renee Day and Jimbo Pickard; and his stepson-in-law Gary Day.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Rae Shaw; his son Michael Daugherty (Bridget); his stepdaughter Suzanne Willis (Martin); his sisters, Sandy Daugherty and Gail Cleland; and his grandchildren, Franklin Daugherty (Sherree), Alysse Murray (Brandon), Michael Mitchell (Karen), Sarah Miracle, Raymond Pickard (Drew), Sheena Ross (Erich) and Travis Willis (Samantha). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
