He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Miechiels and Elizabeth Miechiels (Weissgerber); and his brother James Miechiels. He is survived by: his wife Janet Miechiels; his sons, Matthew Miechiels (Laurie) and Corey Miechiels (Melissa); his sister Violet Dryer (Phil); his grandchildren, David Miechiels, Zachary Miechiels (Alissa), Jordan Miechiels, Toni Miechiels, Ashley Wein and Jordan Crandall; and his great grandchildren, Beau, Athena, Ellie and Lilah.
