He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughter Patricia Hogan; his daughter-in-law Kim Teggerdine; and his siblings, Jean Preble and Wayne Teggerdine. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was also involved with the Civil War Round Table, served on the Advisory Board for Genesis House in Fowlerville, and was Treasurer of the local branch of the American Cancer Society.
