He is survived by: his wife Norma Wiles; his sons, Brian Mattila (Nicolle) and Michael Mattila (Taryn); his grandchildren, Melina, Livianna, Jack and Beck; and his siblings, Don Mattila (Cheryl), Carol McKee (Gary), Dale Mattila (Charo), David Mattila (Tracey), Charlene Hoard (Dale), Sharon Sharp and Robert Wiles. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keehn-Griffin Funeral Home (706 W Main St, Brighton, MI 48116). The lying in state was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
