We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Donna Drumlake (Howell, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred McKaque and Evelyn McKaque (Paquette); her husband Alexander Drumlake Jr.; and her siblings, Douglas McKague, Maxine Dotson and Phillip McKague.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Drumlake (Elizabeth) of California and Kathleen Gostomski (Edward) of Howell; her siblings, Sue Mills (Jim) and Ron McKaque (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Melissa, Jeremy and Anne Marie.

“I first met my mother-in-law in 1988 – on a trip to Michigan that would be one of many over the next thirty years. She had a quiet demeanor, steadfast in her loyalty to both husband, her family and her faith. Nothing replaces the hug, the touch, the brushing of her hair or bringing her the beloved donut treats in person. Mom was feisty and a strong woman in her own right. She was my mother for the past twenty five years and will always appreciate how she made me feel like a daughter. xo”

“I was so saddened to hear of Donna's passing. I was only in contact with her a couple times and I enjoyed getting to know her as well as hearing stories of Daniel's (BIL) youth. It was so nice when she came to visit California last time and we had a beautiful brunch with the Ladies of the family on the lake. ( picture attached of Beth & Donna) I will be keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers at this time. May she rest in Peace in the arms of her Savior.”
