She was predeceased by : her father Guy French; her son Frederick Petersen; and her siblings, Lee French, Earl French and Jean Shields.

She is survived by : her parent Zuella Venice Jacobson; her daughter Karen Pedersen; and her grandchildren, Kenneth, Kelly, Eric, Lisa, Jonathon, James and Austin. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
