He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Stone and Ruby Stone (Anderson); and his son Kevin Stone. He is survived by: his wife Karen Jacobs; his children, Gregory Stone, Brian Stone and Shannon Himmelspach; his siblings, Gregory Stone, Karen Botkin, Kimberly Deon (Daniel) and Cindy Richards; and his grandchildren, Summer, Kylie, Hudson, Colton, Ella, Isabel and William. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Northridge Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
