Harold Way Obituary
Harold W. Way, age 86 of Howell, died at his home Saturday, October 28. Born February 13, 1920 in Evans City, PA, the son of Wilbert and Lillian (Milroy) Way. Harold was a member of Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church and a retired engineer for Williams International of Walled Lake. He dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ, his family, the church and his life's work, aerospace engineering.
He was a key developer of a jet engine which is on display at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Harold is survived by his wife Ruth (Greenhow) whom he married on July 6, 1946 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada; children, Scott (Paula) Way of Fowlerville, Brian (Sandra) Way of Howell, Anne (Denis) Beneteau of Windsor, Ontario, Susan (John) Link of Cedar Springs, Karen Graham of Howell and Mary Jane (Dale) Miller of Warsaw, IN; Beloved grandfather to 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sister Dorothy (Joseph) Williamson of Belle River, Ontario. Funeral services Tuesday, 11 A.M. (in state 10 A.M.) at Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 9455 Hilton Rd., Brighton with Rev. Brian Tweedie officiating. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Howell. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
