Ida DeKoning Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida DeKoning of Howell, Michigan, who passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gersky and Lesta Jayne Gersky; her husband Harry R. DeKoning; and her siblings, Susan Adams, James Gersky Jr., Michael Gersky, Margaret Clark and Dusty Bozanic.
She is survived by: her children, Harry R. DeKoning II of Washington, Janis Pusateri (Michael) of Pennsylvania and Kristie DeKoning Hanus of Michigan; her grandchildren, John, Megan, Jacob, Isabella, Alexandria, Juliana, Nicholas, Brandon and Rachael; her great grandchildren, Emery and Cole; and her siblings, Gerald Gersky, Patricia Geldmacher and Lesta Finch.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ida's memory to the American Cancer Society.
