It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edwin Wells in Howell, Michigan, born in Murray, Kentucky, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Johnie Wells; his grandson Jeff Winsett of Howell; and his parents, James Dewey Wells and Mildred Ophelia Wells. He is survived by : his children, James Dale (Julie) of Lakewood, Sandra Wells Winsett of Howell and Karen Wells Cassel (Richard) of Fowlerville, Michigan.; and his grandchildren, Kevin Winsett of Florence, Karrie Winsett Kirkland of Howell, Carmen Fitch of Holt, Sean Wells of Auburn, Christopher and Brenden Cassel of Fowlerville, Michigan.

Memorial contributions in James Memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
