He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Wesley and Alice Regina Garner (Hennegan); and his siblings, Claude Wesley Jr., Hubert, Earl, James Garner, Mary Varner and Theresa Devine.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Kay Litwin; his children, Elaine Grech (Curtis) of Hartland, Gail McCoy of Howell, Michael Garner of Rochester and Duane Garner (Sophia) of Brighton; his grandchildren, Jared (Courtney), Megan, Ellie, Eric, Leela, Dominic, Alaina, Jacob, Niklas and Evan; his sister Regina Erickson of Brighton; and his son Kenneth Holthaus of Washington State. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:15 PM.
