He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Julie; his children, Kari Schroder (Aaron), Dan L'Esperance (Laura), Erica Lequia (Matt), Carla Honkala (Carl), Alan L'Esprance (Janelle), Andrea Pieti (Jake), Joel L'Esperance (Liana), Kirsten Anderson (Jake), Heather L'Esperance and Ashley L'Esperance; his siblings, Michael L'Esperance (Terri), Michele Harmala (Terry), Margo Heinonen (Mark), Lynne L'Esperance (Paul Harper), Jill L'Esperance, Randy L'Esperance (Maria), Jane Heinonen (Tim), Mark L'Esperance, Phil L'Esperance (Koren), Jodie Roy (Ron), Andrew L'Esperance (Rachael), Sue L'Esperance and Bruce L'Esperance; and his parents, Henry L'Esperance and Marilyn L'Esperance.
