She was predeceased by: her parents, William Benford II and Kathryn Buehrer. She is survived by: her husband Sonny Slider; her daughters, Layessa Slider and Cheyenne Slider; her grandchildren, Kiean, Kohle, Kaiden, Willow, Marianna and Westley; and her siblings, Ken Benford (Maureen), Kellie Krautheim (Von) and Bill Benford (Lisa). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to support the establishment of a dedicated memorial at one of the Renaissance festivals Sherrie enjoyed attending.
