He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Cotton and Mattie Cotton (Messer); his son Therman Cotton Jr.; and his brother Donald "Skip". He is survived by: his wife Anna Cotton; his son Dennis Cotton (Julie); his siblings, Sallie Elliott (Gene) and Thomas Cotton; and his grandchildren, Kyle Cotton, Alex Cotton and Brayden Cotton.
