He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Barton Mays, Matthew Mays (Emma Brereton) and Carly Mays; his granddaughter Estelle Mays; his siblings, John Mays (Susan Singer), Suzanne Wehrly (Robert), Robert Mays (Nancy), Michele Fisher (Richard) and Frederick Mays (Mary); and his caregivers, Debbie and Kadin.
