We bid farewell to Veralou B. Scott of Howell, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2026 at the age of 95. Veralou touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Brewer and Leona Brewer; her former husband Walt; her son-in-law Clay Cogsdill; her siblings, Gerald Brewer (Lina) and Jean Hopkins (Charley); her brother-in-law William New; and her aunt Verna Peck.
She is survived by: her husband Stuart W. Scott; her children, Steven Scott (Patricia), Janet Budesky (Henry) and Diane Cogsdill (Pete Peterson); her grandchildren, Courtney Steele, Lauren Budesky, Adam Cogsdill (Jeannette), Jordan Cogsdill (Jessica) and Trevor Cogsdill; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Aiden, Roman, Emma and Olive. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
