William Hoy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Hoy of Howell, Michigan, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Hoy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hoy and Ellen Hoy (Cory); his sister Patricia Laube; and his nephew John Laube. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hoy of Howell; his daughters, Gena Ellen Hoy of Howell, Tracey Elaine Carlson (Patrick) of Virginia and Dawn Elizabeth Hoy of Howell; and his siblings, Paul Hoy (Melanie), Mary Ellen Hoy, Susan Carney, Joseph Hoy (Sherri), Kathleen Gass (Steve) and Thomas Hoy (Maureen). He is also survived by grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes MacDonald Chapel (315 N Michigan Ave, Howell, MI 48843). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (425 E Washington St, Howell, MI 48843).
