She was predeceased by : her father Hubert Cornelius (Bonnie); and her stepfather Calvin Loyless. She is survived by : her mother Nance Loyless (Calvin); her husband John Abbott; her children, John Vincent, Casey Odell (Robert) and Mekayla DeRosia (Dominic); her grandchildren, Lexy, Connor of Gunnar, TJ, Brayleigh, Brooklyn Odell, Rylee and Delilah DeRosia; and her great grandchild Ryker Matthews.

In addition to her full-time contribution to the family company, Edie had many other jobs.
