With sadness, we share the passing of Edward Bolanowski of Hubbard Lake, Michigan. Edward, born on November 18, 1940, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bolanowski and Clara Bolanowski (Ososki); his spouse Rosalin Olson; and his brothers, Paul Bolanowski, James Bolanowski and Thomas Bolanowski.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Stephens (Ron), Edward Bolanowski, III (Heide) and Anthony Bolanowski (Kim); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Stephens (Jack Hoensheid), Isabella Stephens, Jessica Bolanowski and Jimmy Bolanowski (Klae Courter); and his great grandchild Hudson Bolanowski (Celia Stephens).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). The military honors will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friends Together.
