Helen Tait Obituary

We announce the death of Helen Tait of Hubbardston, Michigan, who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 99. Helen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Riley and Louise Riley (Rockey); her husband Virgil Tait; and her siblings, Betty Geller, John "Jack" Riley, Joe Riley, Patricia Schafer, Leonard Riley, Loraine Barker, Gene Riley and Jeanette Burns.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Tait, Robert Tait, Susan Findlay (Dan) and Kathy Olsen; her grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Kyle, Aaron, Nellie, Maddelyn, Garett, Jim, Jennie, Stephanie and Greg; and her sister Rita Snyder. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
