We announce the death of Joanne (Thompson) Fluger Lucas (Hudson, Michigan), who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Thompson and Ella Thompson (Geelhood); her brothers, Jerry, James and Jack Thompson; her former husband David Fluger; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Fluger (Donna) and William Fluger.
She is survived by: her significant other C. David Miller II; her children, Suzette Verbeck (Mark), Kathy Wallace (Kevin), Michelle Reynolds (Coy), Amanda Miller and Robert Lucas Jr.; her grandchildren, Malcolm Verbeck, Lonnie Reynolds (Lauren), Isaac Verbeck, William Drakon (Rachel), Elizabeth Young (Kyle), Dawson Miller and Delany Miller; her great grandchildren, Maddox, Waylon, Phineas, Eliza and Vivienne; her sisters-in-law, Helen Thompson, Peg Thompson, Sharon Thompson and Pati Lake (Dale); her niece Amy Richardson (Mike); and her nephews, Kyle Thompson (Kristen) and Brian (Sarah).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
