He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gerig and Shirley Gerig (Galbreath); and his wife Nancy Brogan. He is survived by: his children, Josh Gerig (Carolyn) and Tiffanie Tantillo (Abdul Qumane); his siblings, Dennis Gerig (Vicki), Brian Gerig, Kim Gerig (Melanie), Debbie Cooley and Julie Keene (Ron); and his grandchildren, Adrianna Tantillo, Cameron Tantillo and Aiden Cooper-Whitehead.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marry Funeral Home - Hudson Chapel (415 W Main St, Hudson, MI 49247). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in honor of Steven may be made to the Hudson Fire Department.
