We bid farewell to Alice Perrin of Hudsonville, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 17, 2025 at the age of 93. Alice touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smith and Marion Smith; her siblings, Harold Smith (Delene), Margaret Jenkins (Robert), William Smith (Doris), Lyle Smith (Esther), George Smith, Carl Smith (Marty), Anna Mae Simons (Lewis) and Robert Smith (Joyce); and her sister-in-law Joyce Metzner.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Perrin; her sons, Joseph Perrin (Kim), Tom Perrin (Vicki) and Mark Perrin (Amy); her grandchildren, Ashley Vasiloff, Kelsea Berquist (Travis), Lane Perrin (Ashley), Abby Smith (Clinton), Allison Helder (Jared), Luke Perrin (Nicole), Nolan Perrin and Peyton Perrin; her brother-in-law James Weemhoff (Terry); and her friend Barb Heemstra. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VanderLaan Funeral Home (4917 32nd Ave, Hudsonville, MI 49426). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hudsonville Congregational United Church of Christ (4950 32nd Ave, Hudsonville, MI 49426).
